1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how The Accuracy Desk (“we,” “us,” the “Service”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or purchase a membership. The data controller is [legal entity / data-controller details to be confirmed]. For any privacy question, contact support@theaccuracydesk.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) your email address, provided at checkout, which is used to create your membership and deliver access; (b) payment data processed by Stripe — we do not store your card number; we retain a Stripe customer reference and order/subscription records; (c) marketing-attribution data such as UTM parameters, ad click identifiers, referring URL, and landing page, where present; and (d) technical data such as IP address and browser/device information captured in server logs for security and diagnostics. We do not collect your Telegram identity — invite links are issued at purchase and we do not track channel membership.
3. How we use your data, and our legal bases
We use your data to: provide and deliver the Service and process your purchase (performance of a contract); take payment and keep financial records (contract and legal obligation); send transactional messages such as your invite link and receipts (contract); measure marketing and attribute conversions, and — where you have consented — send marketing communications (consent and/or legitimate interests); and keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests). You can withdraw consent or object to marketing at any time.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses) to protect it.
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Financial records are typically retained for the period required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@theaccuracydesk.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
